Thomas Beach Appointed President of Handling Specialty
(Grimsby, ON December 01, 2009) Dennis J. Parass, Chairman of Handling Specialty Manufacturing Ltd., is pleased to announce the appointment of Thomas E. Beach as President of Handling Specialty’s corporate group of companies.
Since August, 2002, Mr. Beach held the position of Executive Vice-President and has been responsible for the daily operations of all Canadian and U.S. operations. His 25 years with Handling Specialty has provided him with extensive industry and management experience. His demonstrated strategic and operational management capabilities combined with his effective leadership uniquely qualify him for the Presidential role.
Thomas Beach began his career as a Technical Salesman with Acklands Ltd. in 1979 moving to Regional Sales Manager in 1982. In 1984, Mr. Beach joined Handling Specialty as a Technical Salesman. During his 25 year career with Handling Specialty, Mr. Beach held a number of key roles: becoming Sales Manager in 1989, General Manager in 1999 and Executive Vice-President in 2002.
