Handling Specialty Awarded Canadian Business of the Year by Niagara University

(Grimsby, ON April 24, 2009)  At Niagara University’s 19th annual Business Appreciation Dinner held Tuesday, April 21, 2009, Handling Specialty was presented with the “Canadian Business of the Year” award for 2009. This event is the university’s yearly celebration of business enterprises. On hand to accept the award was company president Dennis Parass.

Niagara University’s College of Business Administration recognized Handling Specialty as a company that has “built an outstanding reputation as a superb problem-solver by providing unique, custom-engineered solutions for a variety of business sectors.”

“It was a distinct honor to have Handling Specialty recognized as Canadian Company of the Year by Niagara University” said Dennis Parass. “I am proud of our team and their efforts to maintain the core values and unique skills that set us apart and are key to our success. Founded in 1856 by the Congregation of the Mission (Vincentians), Niagara University was first chartered in 1861 as a seminary.
